The Area Manager oversees multiple stores in a specific region. The main target for an Area Manager is to maximize profits whilst minimizing costs. The Area Manager travels around to all stores in his or her assigned area and ensures that all standard operating practices are implemented. He or She ensures that all promotional programs, operational – and customer care standards are met.
ACTIVITIES:
- Managing and motivating a team of store managers and associates to increase sales and ensure efficiency improvements
- Implementing the company standards for quality, food safety and customer service
- Conducting regular appraisals and performance reviews to improve the know-how and skills of the associates, identifying and developing the talents of all the associates in his or her area
- Promoting the organization locally by liaising with local schools and the community in general
